This picture is only showing off two of Charlie's three teeth. The top one is hard to get a picture of, which is unfortunate, because it is pretty cute. (In a mouth-breathin' Appalachian sort of way...)

Nick

Yet another picture of Charlie showing how much he takes after Da-Da (his favorite word)

Buddies

Although this is an older picture, it is one of my favorites. This is Charlie with Ethan, his buddy.

They are in a competition to see who can smile the biggest.

Reading

It's harder to learn to read with upside-down words, but Charlie will keep trying. (Plus, books are delicious)

Great greatgrandparents

We feel very lucky that Charlie has been able to meet his great-grandparents. Chuck and Patty came out at a very hard time for us, and kept us sane with delicious meals and adult (usually)conversation.

Solid Foods

We are trying to phase out boring baby food and move into the exciting world of table food. Showing off his independet streak, Charlie is quite adept at feeing himself such culinary treats as cheerios, noodles, peas and carrots, and cheese.

Just like my Daddy

Charlie recently received an awesome gift from his godparents that he loves. He now his own ladder truck to scoot around.
